WE still don't have all the answers about this year's crops, but traders are already beginning to look ahead to next year's balance sheets. That's because the final size of this year's corn and soybean crops will significantly impact the supply and demand tables for the 2009-10 marketing year one year from now. Prices may reflect perceptions about the size of this year's crops, following a roller-coaster year, but it won't be long before they begin shaping next year's mix.
