The dynamics of motion of the channel side wallshas been studied in the process of narrow holes formation inglass plates (channel depth to diameter ratio exceeds 4) underthe action of pulse-periodical CO2 laser radiation at 4·104—1·106W/cm2 intensity. The conditions of relief formation on thechannel walls and dependence of relief characteristics onradiation intensity and modulation frequency have been investigated.
