The morphology, habitat, distribution, and growth of Senecio pondoensis sp. nov. is described. Coloured illustrations and photographs are provided. Comparative data on the main vegetative and reproductive differences between Senecio pondoensis, S. talinoides and S. sarcoides (=S. corymbiferus) are also tabulated.
