The Technology of Preparing Surface of Steel Bars for Drawing (Calibration) of Preforms for Cold Heading of Fasteners

摘要

There is developed the technology of acid-free preparation of the surface of carbon- and boron- containing steel bars for drawing preforms for subsequent cold heading of fasteners. The technology includes preform blasting followed by laying of 《Pocouл-101M》 high-performance lubricant. This technology does not yield with respect to efficiency to the traditional scheme of preform surface preparation i.e. phosphatization with saponification.
