High Efficiency TIG Welding Technique for 9 percent Nickel Steel

摘要

The applicability of increased arc energy TIG process was tested to 9 percent nickel steel.The results are summarized as follows.(1)The increased are energy TIG process shows better penetration characteristics as compared with conventional TIG process at same welding current, arc voltage and wire feeding speed.(2)This TIG process has been successfully applied to 9 percent nickel steel with high efficiency and high quality.(3)The welded joints made with this TIG process showed good CTOD characters tics.
