Design of cylindrical storage tanks for moderate temperature and high pressure service

摘要

A cylindrical storage tank operating under moderate temperature and high pressure which is made by cylindrical shell plates and head plates is one of the most popular high pressure storage tank. Hereunder, the design outline of the moderatetemperature and high pressure storage tank is described, using a liquefied petroleum gas storage tank and a compressed gas storage tank as examples. Also some topics concerning the aforementioned tanks in recent years are included in this paper.
