Effect of plasma processing on stressed-deformed state of the locomotive wheels ram flanges. Kiselev S. N., kiselev A. S., Savrukhin A. V. Kuz'mina G. D. On a basis of computer modeling analysis of the stressed-deformed and structural state kinetics for locomotive wheel at its manufacture and operation as well as after plasma strengthening of the worn out flange rim is performed. It's stated that restored by plasma processing flange has big potential energy stock intended for the crack-like faults generation and development. It causes reduction of the flange efficiency.
