To apply spectrum analysis to radiation monitors, we developed a multichannel analyzer to be installed at a local site as a component and running average and exponential smoothing methods for real-time measurement. We also developed a vessel typebeta ray liquid effluent monitor which has a function of nuclide analysis for main five nuclides and is free from contamination on the detecting part. Aiming at the management of ambient gamma dose rates on the boundary of a controlled area or a plant, aportable dosimeter with memory was developed. This is capable of continuous measurement for a month and data processing with a personal computer.
