摘要

To improve the thermal efficiency of aero-engines and gas turbines, design and development have been carried out on the application of high performance single crystal (SC) superalloys to high and low pressure turbine blades. The metallurgical properties of SC superalloys were investigated in cooperation with the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS). These experimental results have revealed that the creep strength of the TMS-82+ is improved by the decrease of gamma' phase size due to the high cooling rate. Moreover, TMS-138, one of the 4th generation SC superalloys, was developed. This alloy has excellent creep strength due to the addition of Ru as a phase stability component and Mo as a strengthening component.
