摘要

The earthquake resistant capacity of the three-dimensional multi-span rigid frame bridge is assumedfor type II seismic acceleration such as occurred in the Hyogo-ken Nanbu earthquake. The finiteelement method was applied to dynamic inelastic analysis using the whole structure model, as well aslarge derformation analysis of the single pier model subjected to cyclic loading. The results showedthat relative displacement of the border of the two sections, residual deformation of piers, and theequivalent plastic strain on the part of the plastic hinge formed above the concrete boundary filling inthe steel pier were within the limits provisionally selected.
