Construction of path management system for the SDH network in the multiple server environment

摘要

As the communication network has become large, the network management system is required to control an increased number of network elements(NEs). The element management system manages a large number of NEs by distributing the servers, but the network management has to resolve issues in terms of the creation of suitable databases and efficient communications between server processes for multiple servers. The writers have resolved those issues in the path management system with multi-server environment. In this paper, we explain the structure of servers composing processes and databases, the user interface for path design which doesn't make users aware of multiple servers being used in the system and the method of controlling servers when the multiple clients access to system simultaneously.
