The 4th G2D subcommittee of AWS was held at March 1 and 2 in Reno NV. The draft of Guide for the Fusion Welding of Titanium and Titanium Alloys were prepared and discussed. Kotaki of The Japan Titanium Society was asked to prepare the part of The Bend Test of weld titanium inspection. The bend Radius of 4 times of the thickness of titanium sheet is recommended from JTS. This draft will be discussed and studied. The revision of the standard on The Titnium Welding Electrode and Rods is also studied as A5K subcommittee by the same members.
