摘要

Lanthanum and nitrogen co-doped SrTiO_3 was prepared by a mechaochemical reaction method using SrTiO_3, urea and La_2O_3 as the raw materials. Heating the mixture of SrTiO_3 and La_2O_3 under the flow of NH_3 gas at 600 deg C obtained nitrogen doped SrTiO_3. The sample prepared with 0.2 mol percent La_2O_3 22 mol percent urea and 77.8 mol percent SrTiO_3 which has nearly the same nitrogen and lanthanum doping fractions exhibited high photocatalytic activities. Under the irradiation of light with wavelength larger than 400 nm and 290 nm, the photocatalytic activity of nitrogen and lanthanum co-doped SrTiO_3 were 2.6 and 2 times greater than those of pure SrTiO_3. A new absorption edge was formed in the visible light region and higher visible light absorption after co-doping were the reasons for the high visible light photocatalytic activity of this substance.
