摘要

A new type of lithium ion conductor was developed by doping lithium and potassium nitrates into C-type Since LiNO_3 was introduced into the interstitial open space in the C-type (Gd_(0.9)La_(0.1))_2O_3 lattice together with KNO_3, the high Li~+ ion conductivity was successfully realized down to 100 deg C. Among the samples holding the C-type Gd_2O_3 single phase, the 0.55(Gd_(0.9)La_(0.1))_2O_3-0.18LiNO_3-0.27KNO_3 shows the highest Li~+ ion conductivity of 5.9 X 10~(-2) S centre dot cm~(-1) at 500 deg C and the conductivity is comparable to those of LISICON series in the temperature range between 100 deg C and 500 deg C.
