Intravenous to Oral Levofloxacin Switch Therapy in Patients with Moderate Community-acquired Pneumonia；A Pilot Study

Purpose ： Intravenous to oral switch therapy has been recommended for the treatment of patients with community-acquired pneumonia (CAP), but it has not been implemented in clinical practice and is the subject of alimited number of studies. We aimed to assess the clinical response to same antibiotic switch therapy with levofloxacin (LVFX) for the treatment of hospitalized patients with moderate CAP.Methods ： This study was an open-label prospective study. Hospitalized patients with moderate CAP who met the switch criteria after initial intravenous LVFX treatment were switched to oral LVFX. We assessed safety and the clinical response rate at the end of treatment (EOT) and test of cure (TOC) visit.
