Aluminium World Meets Up at Metef 2004

From 21~(st) to 24~(th) April this year, the Garda Fair Centre of Mon-tichiari was transformed into a huge "square" (measuring more than 17,000 sq m), with 531 companies exhibiting or illustrating machines, plants, components, equipment, products and applications relating to metals. In 2002, the aluminium system, which is still the beating heart of the event organised by Alupro-motion-Edimet, was joined by ferrous metals with Foundeq Europe (the only important exhibition in Italy on metal foundry, the result of close collaboration between Edimet and Amafond) and - this year's novelty - ultra light metals like titanium and magnesium (applications of which were displayed in the Timatec area).
