Metallic light reflections--Design and technology, aluminium shines in lighting technology

Public awareness campaigns on waste collection, initiatives and projects that involve an increasingly diversified and broad portion of players are paying off in terms of use and re-use of aluminium. Speaking of design, we deliberately start from the benefits and the environmental performance of the light metal, intrinsic and related to those well-known in technical applications. The idea of a design coming from recycling has been targeted for some time and successfully by CiAl, a consortium in the forefront for the dissemination of environmental awareness that is not only fashionable, but that is a daily way of life. Among the strategies to involve different and diverse audiences is the use of competitions, one of the most significant of which is ReAI13 - Recycling Aluminium Design Competition, established several years ago to create and promote a specific area dedicated to design.
