The fifty-fourth session of the international law commission

摘要

The International Law Commission held its fifty-fourth session in Geneva from April 27 to June 9, and from July 22 to August16, 2002, under the chairmanship of Robert Rosenstock. The Commission elected Peter C. R. Rabatsi of Uganda to fill the vacancy resulting from the death of Adegoke Ajibola Ige of Nigeria. The Commission continued its work on reservations to treaties, diplomatic protection, unilateral acts of states, and international liability; began preliminary work on responsibility of international organizations and fragmentation of international law; and decided to take up the topic of "Shared Natural Resources."
