The basic tendencies towards the development of the systems of control of the metallurgical works have been examined. The general regularities of the saturation of technical and economic characteristics of systems, in the framework of existing structural and algorithmical support were shown. The methods of qualitative alteration of systems and their functional increase by intelligence, based on regulators with "indistinct logic" were offered.
