The attendance this year was 275, including 15 delegates from abroad. The number of companies represented was 165. For the first time works visits had been arranged to four units (Motor Industries Company-manufacturers of fuel injection equipment; Makino Asia- equipment manufacturer; Dimo Castings-manufacturer of die castings; Dolphin Die Cast-manufacturer of die castings), which attracted 52 participants. A panel discussion on "Die Casting Business-in Today's Changing World" was also held for the first time, with 45 participants, 15 International and 30 Indian experts, who had an opportunity to share their views and discuss on future prospects for Indian Industry.
