Analysis and improvement of a design method of CPT flat shadow mask for increasing resolution

摘要

A former design method of flat shadow method for increasing the CPT's resolution is analyzed and an improved method is presented. The resolution of new CPT is increased, at the same time, new mould for punching the shadow mask is not necessary. Another benefit is that the new CPT could be manufactured in the original production line. The developing period is shortened and cost is saved. The new CPT could be used for multimedia display. Picture quality of new CPT for VGA signals VCD images and television signals etc is satisfactory.
