Report on 2000 SID international symposium plasma displays

This is a report on the papers presented at the sessions related with plasma displays in 2000 SID International Symposium. The sessions related with PDPs are Plasma Display Discharges, Plasma Display Manufacturing, Temporal Artifacts, Plasma Display Technologies and Poster session. Not only the number of the presented papers, but also the number of sessions related with PDPs were increased. The total number of presented paper was 30 including 17 oral papers and 13 poster papers. These papers covered new structures for improving luminous efficiency, discharge analysis and mass production process technologies. Several interesting papers are reviewed.
