Introduce the following outline along the lines of the history of the 4G63 intercooler turbocharged engine for the recent World Rally Championship (from Galant VR-4). The technical approach to improve the engine performance and reliability under the FIA technical regulations. ·The background of development and merit of the turbocharger which is most important component to improve the engine performance. ·The air restrictor transition to restrict the engine power and the approach to improve the engine performance under the restriction of the quantity of air by restrictor. ·The technical feedback items from the rally engine to the production engine. ·Introduce the engine data logging and analysis.
