BRUSH WELLMAN Q-MAX~R (High-Strength Beryllium Copper Tube Alloy)

Brush Wellman Q-Max tube is a high-strength age-hardening copper alloy with excellent biological resistance for use in waters as condenser tubing. Q-Max is a registered trademark of Brush Wellman Engineered Materials. Q-Max tube alloy tensile strength and yield strength result in very high allowable stress values for use in the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. See Table 1 and Fig. 2.
