Analysis and choice of parameters of one-dimensional digital non-recursive filters with finite length characteristics

This article analyses characteristics of the digital filters with finite impulse responses on the basis of weighted rearrangement. The influence of the form and relative duration of “window” limiting lowpass filter impulse response on the form of filter frequency response is considered. The algorithm of analysis of basic characteristics and parameters of digital filters is developed on the basis of the stepped approximation of "window" function form. The concrete realization examples and output computations can be found in this paper. The comparisons of design data obtained by using of the different realization variants of the developed analysis algorithm is performed in the article.
