One of the most common questions asked of a Consulting Rosarian is where to find a rose in commerce. It is also one of the easiest questions to answer. The standard resource for determining if a rose is in commerce is to check the 'Combined Rose List'(CRL) for the current year. It would be sufficient were the Combined Rose List merely to indicate which nurseries around the world carried a rose for sale. But each entry in the booklet contains so much information that it meets the mathematician's definition of a poem: the most information presented in the smallest amount of space.
