Analysis to reduced cross erase for phase-change optical disks

摘要

Some methods to simulate amorphous marks were reported. We proposed a method to simulate the marks by calculating holding time in crystallizing temperature range at each point on media during laser beam passing. The holding time is useful to simulate the marks and to analyze phenomena which explained by a simple model. In this paper, we applied this method to calculating cross erase. And in order to reduce the cross erase, we studied the relationship between structures of phase-change optical disks and the cross erase.
