Roses in the Garden of Good and Evil

As with many rose growers, my wife, Kathy, and I started our rose hobby because we moved into a home with an existing rose garden. The roses were absolutely gorgeous — and we wanted to keep them that way. So, early in the following year, we went to a rose society meeting and listened carefully to one of the local curmudgeons as he demonstrated the art of rose pruning.
