摘要

The article presents the author's point of view on the development of cement production. On the basis of analysis of the present-day state of cement production, the author comes to the conclusion that it is necessary to conduct research and production works directed at development of new methods of production, new equipment and at using new types of fuel.The cement plant of the future will be located closer to major cities, will have less capacity and be more like a chemical plant.
