Portland Cement Clinker on the Base of Kachkanar Ores Tailings

The article describes the findings of laboratory and field experiments on obtaining Portland cement clinker from raw mixes containing Kachkanar ores tailings. It has been established that it is possible to obtain compositionally normal clinker from a two-component mix of limestone and iron ore tailings. Such mixes require less heat for burning and sinter more easily in comparison with standard multicomponent burdens while preserving the hydraulic activity of cements.
