Electron beam surface curing was investigated as for ability to provide good surface roughness for sponge rubber extrusion. Radiation of electron beam in prior to vulcanization by microwave oven and hot air oven was used to provide fine sponge properties and smooth skin surface. Electron beam penetrates further with higher accelerating voltage. And high electric current provided high cross-linking density. Eventually, by adjusting the condition of radiation, a sponge product which has smooth skin surface and good material properties was obtained.
