In response to the demand for a smaller and lighter VRLA battery retaining the performance of the present model, for motorcycle use, Yuasa has developed a new model of YT4B. This new YT4B, though smaller and lighter, possesses the similar or evenbetter performance, compared to the present one, with respect to high current drain, capacity retention during standing at high temperature, recovery by charging after over-discharging and vibration. The new battery uses more numbers of a thinnerelectrode only possible with an expanded grid for better performance, and features a wet and charged design for easy handling when installing it yet has been confirmed to be usable as safely as with the present one.
