摘要

Photosynthesis was measured in terminal leaflets of the 5th and 6th leaves on the main stem of 16 soyabean cultivars of different maturity groups at the flowering, pod formation and seed development stages. Photosynthetic rate was in the order of early > middle > late maturity groups and gradually decreased with plant age. Photosynthetic rate was negatively correlated with leaf size and positively correlated with specific leaf weight. Seed yield was not significantly correlated with photosyntheticrate.
