A study on influence of soil water content for fertilizer effect in the cultivation of wheat.

摘要

Soil water influences physical and chemical soil properties, and thus the fertilizer effect on growing crops. The relation between the amount of fertilizer and crop yield is expresses by the following equation: y=b0+b1N+b2P-b3N2-b4P2+b5NP, where y is crop yield, N is nitrogen fertilizer, P is phosphorus acid fertilizer and bi are constants. In order to know the quantitative relation between fertilizer and crop harvest, pot cultivations of wheat were tested using 3 irrigation water quantities. The results show: (1) the equation expresses the fertilizer effect; (2) the equation shows water content to have a great influence on fertilizer effectiveness. The harvest quantity of wheat differed in the equation as the fertilizer effectiveness; and (3) soil water greatly influences the effect of fertilizer. However, water has a greater effect on nitrogen fertilizer as compared to phosphorus acid fertilizer.
