Detection of serum antibodies to swine fever virus using indirect immunoperoxidase technique.

307 serum samples from pigs were examined for neutralizing antibodies (NT) against swine fever virus strain GPE- using FS-L3 cell line. Samples were then examined for antibodies using indirect immunoperoxidase technique (IIP) with monoclonal antibodies. The geometric mean titres of NT and IIP antibodies were 121.7 and 94.88, respectively. The correlation coefficient between these two titres was 0.813.
