An algal-flora of the Chirchik river basin of Tashkent oasis, its place in nature and the national economy

Flora systematic analysis of the results of 40 years (1952--1996) algological investigations in the Chirchik River basin (Tashkenl oasis) showed, that tere are 1562 species, belonging la 220 genera, 88 families, 33 orders, 19 classes and 8 devisions. The dominating algae among them is Bacillariophyta (659 species, 42,08%), that are followed by Chlorophyta (485,31%). Cyanophyta (291,18%). Amounts of others are insignificant. Their role in nature and national economy is shown. The received florasystematic database is recommended la use for comparative investigation of algal-flora in oilier regions and when compiling the determinator of Uzbekistan algal flora.
