摘要

The data on the mineral (P, K, Ca and Mg) and trace element (Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu and Ni) contents of plants of the families Poaceae, Cyperaceae and Ericaceae growing on the ultrabasic and acid rocks of Southern Chukotka, Russia are given. The taxonomic and ecological factors influencing the mineral uptake of plants on serpentine soils is considered. It is suggested that the basis of the adaptation of the plants studied is their ability to limit the absorption of excess concentrations of the ions presentin serpentine soils.
