The role of galactomannans in the chemotaxonomy of the family Fabaceae.

摘要

The significance of seed galactomannans in the chemotaxonomy of the Fabaceae is discussed, with particular reference to the occurrence of galactomannans among leguminous taxa, their various yields in seeds, and variations in the value of the molar ratio of mannose to galactose.
