Influence of LED and LD lights on the growth of lettuce

摘要

Photosynthetic rate and growth rate measurements were carried out for lettuce using red laser diodes(LD) and various spectra of light emitting diodes(LED). It was found that lettuce grew healthily under red LD(650nm) and blue LED with R/B ratio 10. However, both photosynthetic rate and growth rate rather diminished compared with LED case.
