摘要

This meeting, which focuses on studies of infective diseases and disease mechanisms, contains 10 meeting presentation abstracts, all written in Japanese. Specific topics include studies on black flies in Asia with reference to filaria, mechanism of Habu venom induced muscle necrosis, expression kinetics of lysozyme on Haemophysalis longicornis, studies on tick cathepsin B-like protease involved in embryonic degradation of vitellin, study on Aedes spp. inside and outside of houses in Bali, phylogenetic analysis of black flies, experimental infection of mosquitoes with Chikungunya virus and difference in spatial distribution between Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus in Vietnam.
