大強度陽子加速器施設'J-PARC'と磁性研究への期待

摘要

This paper presents an overview of the neutron instrument suite of J-PARC and of prospective science in magnetism. The neutron facility of J-PARC, JSNS, was commissioned in May 2008 and opened to users in December. JSNS will be a 1 MW pulsed spallation neutron source. About 10 high-performance instruments have been commissioned or are under construction. A large number of scientific breakthrough are expected, not only in the area of magnetism, but also in many other disciplines.
