摘要

This article reviews the fundamental mode orthogonal flux-gate (FM-OFG) magnetometer and techniques for measuring the magnetic field from a human heart by using an array of them. Emphasis is placed on the ultra-low noise property of the FM-OFG magnetometer. Also shown is an innovative design of a magnetic shield that can be conveniently used for magnetocadiogram measurements.
