A Myers-type compactness theorem by the use of Bakry-Emery Ricci tensor

Let (M, g) be a complete and connected Riemannian manifold of dimension n >= 2. By using the Bakry-Emery Ricci curvature tensor on M, we prove a Myers-type compactness theorem which corresponds to the compactness theorem proved by Cheeger-Gromov-Taylor. (C) 2017 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
