摘要

GLP-1 receptor agonists and exercise training have been widely used in patients with type 2 diabetes and obesity. The aims of this study were to evaluate the influences of exenatide therapy with different forms of exercise on maximum oxygen uptake (VO2 max) in obese patients with type 2 diabetes. Conclusions: The levels of muscle mass and VO2 max increased when exenatide treatment was combined with exercise training, particularly aerobic combined with resistance exercise. The level of VO2 max is correlated with body weight, body fat mass, and muscle mass.
