Recent Photoemission Studies on BiCh(2)-Based Compounds

摘要

Photoelectron spectroscopy is a powerful experimental tool for direct observation of electronic states in solids. Since the discovery of the superconductivity in LaO1-xFxBiS2 at 2012, variety of photoemission techniques have been employed including angle-integrated and angle-resolved photoemission, core-level, spectromicroscopy, spin-resolved measurement, and high-resolution laser angle-resolved photoemission, in order to study the electronic structure in this series of material. In this review article, we briefly introduce them. The overall electronic structure turned out to be weakly correlated system at first glance, while several novel phenomena have been observed due to the presence of structural instability and the effect of strong spin orbit coupling in the system.
