摘要

As factors for microstructure change in MgO-C bricks, effect of additives can be listed up ' along with improvements in particle size distribution, mixing technology for green body and pressing capability. It has been inferred in the previous investigation of correlativity among permeability, apparent porosity and pore diameter of MgO-C bricks that permeability changes in accordance with pore diameter and its volume"'. In this study, the influence of aluminum addition on permeability and pore size distribution as well as the effect of aluminum addition on microstructure formation are examined for MgO-C bricks with different relative densities.
