Lung and liver helminths of wild sheep (Ovis ammon orintalis) from Kabodan island, National Park of Urmia lake (North West of Iran).

The investigation was carried out during 1994-95. Fifty wild sheep (Ovis ammon orintalis) from Kabodan island, National Park of Urmia lake (North West of Iran) examined for lung and liver helminths revealed six species of helminths, three nematodesand three cestode larvae. The parasites recorded were Dictyocaulus filaria, Mullerius spp, Cysticercus oceratus [Taenia], Protostrongylus rufescens from lungs and Echinococcus granulosus larvae and Taenia hydatigena larvae from liver.
