摘要

An original molecular separation method is proposed and investigated in which optical excitation of the molecules to be separated is used. The transition of molecules to an excited state substantially reduces their mobility on the capillary surface. An original model of molecular mobility is presented. It is shown that, due to the intercombination conversion, the excited molecules are amassed in the triplet-excited state. An analysis of the mobility of excited molecules shows that molecules in a triplet-excited state have six times less mobility than molecules in the ground singlet state.
