Together and apart: collegiality and individuality in research centres.

摘要

Today I'm attending a symposium organised by the research centre where I work: the Trinity Centre for Bioengineering. It's an annual event in which we spend the day hearing talks and viewing posters prepared by our Ph.D. students and postdocs. At the end of the day each of the principal investigators will be asked to say a something of a strategic nature, looking forward to the challenges and opportunities of the coming year.
