5-oxo-imidazolines

摘要

Various imidazolines have resulted in many potential drugs and are known to possess a broad biological spectrum.Looking to the interesting properties of imidazolinones in the anthracene moiety,it was considered worth while to synthesise a series of 5-oxo-imidazolines of type (II) which were prepared by the condensation of 2-Phenyl-4-[9'-anthrylidene] azalactone with different aromatic amines.
